Today, the financial hardship families must endure while simultaneously dealing with the physical and emotional challenges of cancer can be a lot on their shoulders.  Vickie’s Angel Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit since 2007, was founded by Mickey Minnich to help those families in the fight with cancer.  In some cases, the financial burden is immediate for non-medical expenses like rent/mortgage payments, food, utility bills, and car expenses.  The money raised does not go towards research, but instead, all donations stay in Central Pennsylvania and go to families for temporary support for those basic necessities. To date, VAF donors have raised over $3,000,000.
