The Eastern Standard Family has grown over the past 15 years to include current employees working in Kenmore Square at both the Eastern Standard and The Hawthorne, as well as the teams at Branch Line (Watertown) and Shy Bird (Cambridge). We consider the ES family to be spread across the city, region and country, with many talented alumni working in Boston and beyond.  The Standard Family Fund will provide cash cards to employees in need bi-weekly. Every dollar received will be distributed bi-weekly to employees of Eastern Standard, Branch Line and Shy Bird who are out of work and in need. We hope this fund will live on to support and care for current and former employees facing hardship. We hope to ask our teams to return to work as quickly as possible, and we are also navigating the viability of takeout and delivery across Branch Line and Shy Bird. Until we can reopen, we are asking for support for our employees who are unable to receive government aid and assistance. Restaurant employees are resilient. Restaurant employees are team oriented.
