Introducing the world’s first industry-wide net zero plan 

Water UK is delighted to invite you to join us for the launch of the water industry’s comprehensive plan to deliver net zero emissions by 2030.  

While many organisations have set their own targets, this is the first time an entire industry has come together to develop a sector-wide Routemap of this kind, setting the bar for others as the UK continues on its journey to net zero.  

Hosted by one of the longest serving newscaster-journalists on British television, Alastair Stewart, the event will bring together senior decision-makers, environmental and policy experts including the Committee on Climate Change Chair Lord Deben, Natural England Chair Tony Juniper, and the UK’s High Level Climate Champion for COP26, Nigel Topping, in a live broadcast from the London Wetland Centre. 

We look forward to sharing with you the steps that we’re taking as a water industry and what we believe needs to be done to deliver this critical transition while supporting a green, resilient recovery from Covid-19.
