The Racial Equity through Action and Learning: Walking the Walk summit is part of a series to build capacity to advance racial equity and justice. This year we are building on what we have learned about the history of racism in America and learning how to talk about racial equity to begin to take definitive action against racial injustice.
Although the Summit is virtual, we will have an opportunity to engage in-person at the Pre-Summit Reception on Thursday, October 13, 5-7pm at the Columbus Metropolitan Main Library, 96 S. Grant Ave. Recommended dress code is business causal.
This Summit is designed for those interested in learning more about racial justice tools to be used by organizations.
Event Objectives:
Outline actionable ways to address racial injustice within participants’ sphere of influence
Identify appropriate tools and resources to use to bring about racial equity
Apply racial equity tools to take action against racial injustice
