About the Conference: We aim to bring together a diverse community of nutrition and health professionals, students, and Registered Dietitian Nutritionists who are committed to advancing diversity and cultural humility through nutrition and dietetics.
Conference Highlights:
Thought-Provoking, Evidence-Based Presentations: Participate and listen to stimulating presentations on topics such as eating disorders in the Latine community, culturally congruent care practices for perinatal through aging populations, expanding the scope of public health nutrition, and the role of nutrition in preventing chronic diseases in diverse populations. This conference will provide 22.5 CPEUs (pending CDR approval); including some ethics CPEUs.
Interactive Workshop: Join Maya Feller and Juliette Blount for a unique interactive workshop designed to guide participants through addressing implicit bias and counseling with cultural humility. Worth 1.5 CPEUs.
Flavor-Forward Cooking Demonstrations: Participate in live cooking demos and practical sessions designed to equip you with valuable tools and strategies for incorporating diverse foods into your rotation and connecting with diverse cultures.
