Encountering Innovation Week 2021 is a virtual week-long conference that provides innovators and advanced manufacturers the opportunity to present and showcase their innovation and manufacturing capabilities to various government agencies and federal agency prime contractors as well as bring innovators and technology companies together to meet and exchange ideas.
Tech Scouts from the Department of Defense, Service Labs, Academia, and various government agencies will listen to pitches, discuss government needs, and chat with innovators during events throughout the week, while federal prime contractors and other small business manufacturers will meet in private Matchmaking sessions with participating advanced and innovating manufacturers for contracting purposes. Through these connections, small businesses will gain feedback and direction and their innovation may be selected for socialization among government agencies and/or for fast-track contracting and matchmaking businesses may be selected for contracting and/or subcontracting with participating federal primes or other participating small businesses. Additionally, all small businesses will have the opportunity to network and connect with DOD and other Agency Prime Contractors, advanced manufacturing companies and other small business innovators who are looking for new innovations and strategic partnerships.
The week will also include daily main stage speakers to discuss current and future technologies, multiple daily breakout sessions focusing on up-and-coming technology led by industry experts, and direct contact with all innovators and technologies through the expo hall. Conference attendees are prohibited from recording conference sessions.
The event will occur on the platform Accelevents. You will receive Accelevents login instructions approximately one week prior to conference start.
