The 2021 CDFI Coalition Institute

The CDFI Coalition is a national membership organization, which has supported the work of CDFIs to bring access to credit, capital and financial services to low- and moderate-income communities throughout the country since 1992. Each year, the Coalition's CDFI Institute brings a diverse range of CDFIs from across the country for policy discussions and advocacy. 

While this year's event will be virtual, we expect it will draw one of our largest audiences yet. We have invited congressional leaders and key federal agency staff to speak, who will be announced soon. It is a key time, as we work with both a new Congress and Administration to ensure robust appropriations for CDFI Fund Programs, which is more important than ever with the health and racial pandemic that has beset low-income and communities of color across our country.

There will also be a virtual CDFI Capitol Hill Advocacy Day organized by the Coalition at a later date this spring, and Institute registrants will be invited to participate in virtual meetings and a special legislative update in advance.
