Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts has partnered with leading fashion, beauty, and media brand Glamour for the upcoming “Women in Focus: Big Tech and the Future of Hollywood” panel. The virtual event will bring together some of the most high-profile women in Hollywood and in the U.S. for a live discussion about the future of the entertainment industry and the impact of streaming services and technology.
The entertainment business is going through a revolution. “Big Tech,” massive spending and all sorts of new ways of watching film and TV are impacting everything we see and think. Where do women fit into this new paradigm, both inside Hollywood and outside it? Chapman and Glamour’s Women in Focus Event will offer a thought-provoking discussion on what’s right, what’s wrong — and where we’ll be headed next.
