Welcome to the 2021 SGS Summit!

The 2021 Summit theme is: delivering the schools that families want, need, and deserve. We’re excited to connect with like-minded visionary leaders from Texas and around the country for two days of inspirational speakers, highly engaging workshops, and networking opportunities.


Who should register for Summit? SGS Summit attendees include district leaders in the SGS Network, such as Board Members, Superintendents, Chief Innovation Officers, other district cabinet members, Executive Advisors, Technical Assistance Providers, and other support organizations.


When will registration open? Registration is open and will continue to be through June 23rd, 2021. 


When can I view the complete list of Summit sessions and build my schedule? The full 2021 Summit schedule has been released! Build your experience using the Agenda tab above. You can find a printable version of the 2021 Summit agenda here.


Where will Summit 2021 take place? The 2021 Summit will be hosted on a streamlined and interactive virtual platform this year! All you need to join is this webpage. What is the System of Great Schools?

The Network: Texas school districts who join the SGS Network participate in a 4-year program that provides district leaders with technical assistance, professional learning communities, and support in applying for grants and other financial resources. Learn More.


The Strategy: The SGS Strategy is a district-level problem solving approach that district leaders use to understand school performance and community demand and deliver the schools families want, need, and deserve. Learn More.
