We, at the PBS Community Foundation, affirm that everyone has a fundamental right to self-determination. We believe in “Independence without Isolation”. 

WHAT IS SELF DETERMINATION?

Individuals with developmental disabilities are seeking the opportunity to stay in their own communities, pursuing their personal goals while receiving the needed levels of support to make full community inclusion a viable and sustainable reality.

We endeavor to strengthen the community-based, grass-roots support networks and the interconnected social fabric that will secure the basic human right of lifelong inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
