The Main Event
Come on out to our annual fundraiser, Hammers and Ales, a Happy Hour style event at Karbach Brewery on April 4th, 2019, now with live music! Enjoy a bottomless selection of Karbach beer, as well as tasty heavy bites from Karbach's kitchen, a rad silent auction, a cornhole tournament, other fun games and a raffle.
This year, the event will move downstairs to the outside area to accommodate an expected crowd of 400 plus attendees. And, we're excited to announce live music from Eagles tribute band Already Gone. All event proceeds will go to support the Houston Community ToolBank.
Cornhole Tournament
One of our newest elements will be the Cornhole Tournament, which will run throughout the event and is open to anyone who purchases a team ticket. Join up and see how you match against the other teams while supporting a good cause! Crazy awesome prizes for the top two teams.
About the ToolBank
Houston Community ToolBank is a nonprofit tool lending program that supports fellow nonprofits as they complete community-based projects throughout our region. With a warehouse of 250 tool types and over 15,000 tools, we equip projects of all shapes and sizes, from planting community gardens to long-term Harvey home rebuilds, from cultural festivals to playground constructions. The Houston ToolBank has over 350 nonprofit partners who complete thousands of projects each year.
