A Message from our Organizers

As salaam alaikum!

Earlier this month a group of Black Muslim College Students from universities around the country gathered to plan this conference.  They wanted an opportunity to express themselves and have an venue to learn from scholars.  This was the first such conference of Black Muslim College Students coming together in unity to work on a project for their common good.  We pray Allah blesses us with success to represent the needs and concerns of our peers.  Ameen.

FAQ- 

  This conference will be bringing together collegiate students on a national level. This conference will provide ways to discuss, learn, and engage with ways to celebrate the Black Muslim student identity.

We created this conference to bring support and resources to our fellow Black Muslim students who may feel isolated or excluded in their current academic and religious spaces. Our mission is to be a beacon of light for Black Muslims to come together and build long-lasting relationships. 

Our student leaders are from Harvard Islamic Society, Howard University MSA, Yale MSA, and the University of Albany MSA.
