Join us for the final round of the 8th annual Be Heard MN youth poetry slam series!
Twelve teenagers from the state of Minnesota will be competing for their opportunity to serve as a cohort of youth poetry ambassadors throughout the state and abroad: LaCameron, Anna, Laurel, Markeanna, Shanti, Marveae, Kwe, Celine, Tia, Leaf, Max and Autumn will compete virtually via pre-recorded video poems during a livestreamed interactive feed complete with commentary, featured artists, judges and more on May 30th, 2020 at 7:00p.

Your support is paramount as their semi-final and final round was greatly impacted by the onset of COVID-19, but their spirits were not broken and they deserve to be heard-- now more than ever.
The final six members of the cohort will receive a scholarship to advance their education, work to publish a draft of a manuscript and be mentored by some of Minnesota’s most decorated writers and performers.
