The Texas A&M University System’s Council for Academic Technology and Innovative Education (CATIE) proudly announces the 2024 Texas A&M Chancellor’s Summit on Academic Technology to be held in person and virtually on June 24-25, 2024. This year’s theme, AI & U: Agency, Innovation, & Understanding for Future-focused Learning, will explore how innovators both within and beyond the A&M System are enhancing their understanding of generative AI, using generative AI in ways that promote student, faculty, and staff agency; and addressing ethical concerns associated with AI applications.
This year's gathering will offer a dynamic, hybrid summit/conference experience. In addition to selected professional and faculty/staff presenters, designated teams from each institution will be attending. The goal will be to build upon the team-based work that happens at the Summit to initiate and sustain ongoing efforts at each System institution. The keynote address and various presentations will be available to virtual attendees, while hands-on workshops will be limited to in-person attendees.
