From July 18 - 19, 2023, the U.S. Department of State will welcome teachers, educators and global education experts online for its eighth annual Global Teaching Dialogue.
Alumni of the Department’s Teacher Exchange Programs and other global education leaders will share best practices for globalizing curricula, implementing virtual exchanges, and learning from and sharing educational strategies with colleagues in other countries. U.S. Department of State officials will speak with the group and teachers will conduct workshops on integrating global competence and international best practices across the K-12 curriculum.
Attendees at this virtual event will receive information about U.S. Department of State exchange programs for teachers and youth, the National Museum of American Diplomacy, and other resources to help teachers bring the world into their classrooms. Be sure to register for the Plenary Session, and choose your favorite 5 sessions from among 17 concurrent breakout session offerings.
