This annual 2-day event brings together the Alliance to End Hunger’s extensive national and community network, the Hunger Free Communities Network, and attracts hundreds of hunger fighters from across the country.
We explore solutions and best practices for ending hunger at the community level and the policies that underpin this work at the federal level. The HFC Summit brings together people representing multiple sectors including government, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, corporations, foundations, students and community residents.
Collectively since the onset of the pandemic this network has created new programs, developed innovative partnerships and advocated for a strong response to increased food insecurity.
The goal of this year's Summit is to highlight and promote best practices for ending hunger at the community level. We will accomplish this by highlighting effective policies, programs and methods for reducing community food insecurity and impacting root causes of hunger; sharing best practices and resources; demonstrating effective multi-sector collaborations; and building skills among participants.
